Hello everyone! I've been meaning to update the blog as to how the egg retrieval and transfer went, but it seems kinda silly to do that now -- as you may have guessed, everything went well! We made some good embryos, and two of them were selected for immediate action!
I can't tell you how thrilled we are with the results! When I heard from Alicia that she tested positive yesterday, I simply couldn't believe it. 3 days past a 5 day transfer is not a time you expect to receive a positive test. With the lines getting darker, and the digital test spelling out "Pregnant" in big letters, we are more excited than words can ever express!
Hopefully, this year, our princess will receive an unforgettable birthday present, one she can enjoy for the rest of her life!
