The countdown is def. on...

Wow, here we are one day shy of 35 weeks, can you believe it?

I am really having a rough time this go around, which I am baffled as to why. I'm not overweight, I wasn't when I started, I am in pretty good shape, but just the little walk to Kameron's school morning and afternoon is kicking my butt. I feel like I have ran a marathon or something. It takes me forever to catch my breath and get my breathing back under control. I have been quite sleepy lately as well. I am back to needing my middle day naps like I was at the beginning of the pregnancy. Next Friday is our next appointment, and I am curious to know how much I have gained this time. I am hoping for just a pound or two.

I am starting to be able to see the finish line, but it is still not quite in my grasp. I have been having quite a bit of contractions. Sometimes they are quite painful, and I try to tell Celeste it's not time, and she needs to settle down in there, and other times it is just the motions of contractions with no pain, which are the ones I prefer the most.

Irene and Mike will be here in just under a month, so the countdown to their arrival should help time go by. I can't wait for them to get here cause it will only mean I am one step closer in making the dreams of having a baby, a reality for two great people. I think Irene will do a great job, and I am here to help her get a good step on the right foot with her lil princess. I can't wait to see these two interact with their little girl and see the excitment in their eyes.

My Mom will also be here a month from tomorrow. She will have the duty of keeping the boys while we all run off to the hospital. I am also requesting her taco salad to help kick me into labor paired with pineapple (it was the meal I ate the night I went into labor with Gabriel).

I will try to remember to have Felix or Kameron take new belly shots tomorrow, and will get them posted soon. I also plan to have Felix paint my belly (I didn't do it with the boys) maybe this weekend if we aren't too busy. I thought it would be fun to do.
