He came in and discussed my weight gain for the past four weeks, which was quite a shock for me, 6 pounds. I had asked the nurse when she weighed me jokingly "Is your scale broke?" I am now weighing more than I have ever in my life. With my boys, I maxed out at the same weight with both of them. I am now 5 pounds over that max. The doctor said Celeste will begin to put on a lot weight now, and he would like to see me gain between 5-8 more pounds.
He listened to her heartbeat, which he finds right away each time. That sounded fine, and he asked me was it a boy or a girl again, he had forgot. He measured my belly, and asked me how much my children had weighed? He isn't very detailed when telling me things. So I don't have what I am measuring but he says I am measuring just fine. And I asked if he thought Celeste was too big or too small, and he said she isn't too big and isn't too small. It kinda threw me off when he asked about my boys weights at birth, is there something he isn't telling me? He pushed and felt on my stomach, and I asked her position. She was head down with her booty up above my belly button. Hopefully she will stay in this position.
We walked across the hall to his office, and he said he would see me back in four weeks. I had a few questions I had wrote down and asked him those. I have been craving ice like crazy for the past few weeks. He looked at my past bloodwork and said my iron levels were great, and that it was fine for me to keep consuming my ice. I let him know I needed more prenatal vitamins and some tylenol. I also mentioned that I hadn't had a migraine in a few weeks, (knock on wood), and he said my body could have just outgrown them. Wahoo!!
So that is my appt update for my one day shy of 32 week appt. I go back one day shy of 36 weeks on Oct 19th.
The last few days this week, I have been experiencing quite a bit of contractions. My body is gearing up and definitely getting ready for the big arrival of Miss Celeste. I have been getting more worn out walking and out of breath while talking. Felix gets a kick out of the talking thing. It's getting hard to sit, I prefer laying around... She feels like she is in my throat and between my legs all at the same time, and laying takes that pressure off.
51 days to go! I can't believe it!
Here are a few pictures Kameron took of me a few minutes ago.... Taken Sept 27th at 32 weeks 5 days.
